personality Annabeth has a very strong personality. At times she can be a little too much to handle. When you first meet her Annabeth is very harsh and judgmental, but after winning her approval she is very loyal. She is very intelligent and equally stubborn. She tends to be very possessive over the people she loves. She would honestly do anything for any one of her friends. Some people also find her to be a bit of a bitch, especially people who don't fully know her. She is very competitive and loves to win at everything. She wont let anything go without a fight, and a good one at that. Battle strategy is her high point so expect a challenge from her.

Annabeth loves architecture, and spends most of her free time designing new buildings and visiting national monuments. She has a keen eye for beauty in art and loves everything about it. If she wasn't who she was that would probably be her life's passion. If you ever have the chance to be around her when she is designing or viewing buildings then you can almost see her soft side. A side not everyone gets the chance of meeting but a select few have. Honestly, she is a very sweet and loyal girl but she has been through somethings in her life that has caused her to build walls.

history Well it all started when Athena, the Goddess of Wisdom and Strategy, and a mortal named Frederick Chase met while he was studying at Harvard. Athena agreed to help him succeed in his studies and during the process the two fell in love. Soon after Athena sent Frederick a gift. The gift of their child, Annabeth. She appeared in a golden cradle brought down from the skies by Zephyrus. Frederick pleaded with Athena and asked her to taken Annabeth with her and raise her in Olympus but he was told that heroes must be raised by their mortal parents for it was against the rules of the Gods for a child to be raised by the godly parent. So Frederick took her in and tried his best to raise her. However he would soon fail.

At the age of five, Annabeth's father got remarried. From there her father and her new step-mother had two children; Matthew and Bobby. This didn't exactly please Anna nor did Anna please her new mother. It was all because Annabeth was a Demigod, meaning part God/part mortal and due to this there was always a monster attacking them constantly. Annabeth's step-mom wasn't exactly thrilled about it and fear for her children. Also Anna thought she the woman though she was a freak. In all she believe she wasn't wanted at home and it cause Annabeth to run away and live on her own when she was seven years old. During this time she fought of the monster with the help of her mothers guidance for about three months. After some time she was found by Luke Castellan and Thalia Grace, others who were like her. Annabeth had been hiding in an alley in Richmond Ironworks which just so happened to be the same alley they had been hiding out in as well. Hearing a noise, Luke and Thalia went to the sheet of iron Anna had been hiding under thinking it was a monster. Anna also thinking they were a monster charged at Luke with the hammer she had but wasn't successful due to the fact that Luke knocked it from her hand. It was then that Luke and Thalia discovered Annabeth was a demigod and they agreed she could come along with them. After Annabeth opened up to them Luke took her under his wing, promising her that he wouldn't let anything or anyone hurt her and presented her with a celestial bronze knife.

They traveled to many places together until they met Grover, a Satyr, who was to bring them to Camp Half Blood. However getting there wasn't exactly easy. On the way they found themselves in a Cyclops lair. Luke, Thalia, and Grover were all captured and were put into a pot hanging over a fire. When Annabeth found them the Cyclops tried to lure her in as well but mimicking the sound of her fathers voice. However this only angered her and caused her to stab it hard on the foot. This gave her time to until Thalia who then rescued the others. After escaping, the four where back on route but it didn't stop the monsters from coming after them. Seeing that they couldn't outrun them, Thalia elected to stay behind to distract them so Annabeth and the others could get to the camp. Thalia was Annabeth's best friend and to just leave her behind was truly hard but Thalia insisted that she went. It is uncertain what truly happened, whether Thalia fought or not but she was mortally wounded and in return her father, Zeus, saved her life by turning her into a pine tree, later renamed Thalia's Pine Tree. After leaving Thalia behind; Luke, Grover, and Anna reached the camp. She never wanted to go back home now especially after seeing, first hand what could and would happen. Plus there was nothing there for her and eventually Camp Half Blood became her new home and Luke, her family.

At the age of ten was when Annabeth first heard about the Great Prophecy. It was a prophecy give by an Oracle seventy years ago, around World War II. The prophecy was as follows:

A half-blood of the eldest gods
shall reach sixteen against all odds
And see the world in endless sleep
The hero's soul, cursed blade shall reap
A single choice shall end his days
Olympus to preserve or raze

Since hearing about it and also hearing that she was to be apart of it the thought gave her nightmares every night that followed. So every time a new camper entered the camp she would instantly wonder if they were 'the one' the prophecy called for. When she grew to the age of twelve she met a boy named Percy Jackson after he was attacked by the Minotaur. While he recovered, she became his caretaker and fed him ambrosia and nectar in the Big House. When he later awoke Anna told him that he drooled while he slept. Upon regaining his strength Annabeth's attitude changed towards him. She became more hostile. This was because he was the one the prophecy called for and for the life of her she couldn't figure out why. What was so great about him? During a game of Capture the Flag she watched him try to fight Clarisse with little success until he lands in the water and regains strength and power. That's when he awed her. But still, why him?

When she heard that he was going to go on a quest she insisted that she went along with him along with Grover. He eventually gave in and agrees to let them come along with him to find Zeus's lightning bolt because Zeus had thought that Percy had stolen it when in all truth he hadn't. While on a bus to New Jersey, three furies came on board, and Annabeth used her cap to hide Percy from them and hoped that Percy's smell will hide her and Grover's smells and protect them as well. After the bus crashed due to the fight between the demigods and the furies, they find themselves at Aunty Em's Gnome Emporium. Upon entering then find out that it is Medusa's lair and that she was turning people into stone. This frightens Anna because it was her mother, Athena, that turned her into a monster because she was caught kissing Poseidon in one of her temples. After a lot of running and crafty sneak up skills, Percy chops Medusa's head off and they continue on their way to Mount Olympus. After returning a lost dog for the reward money, they purchased tickets and took a train and soon come to the Gateway Arch. Upon seeing the Arch, Annabeth goes insane and begins to get excited about being there. That was when she expressed to Percy and Grover that she wanted to be an architect and goes on to tell them everything about the arch. When leaving Percy was attacked by Echidna and the Chimera at the very top of the arch. He was poisoned by the Chimera who forced him to jump out of the window into the Mississippi River below. Quickly Grover and Annabeth get into the elevator and go down to see if he is alright and being the son of Poseidon, he is perfect due to the water he fell into. But not all is perfect. The stunt lands Percy on the news which cause the three to flee and get themselves into hiding.

They get back onto the train and head out of the city. Arriving at a diner they come across Ares, son of Zeus and Hera. He offers to drive them west if they help him first by retrieving something in Waterland. Annabeth and Percy don't like the idea because the item, Ares' shield, is in the Thrill Ride O' Love and they don't exactly feel alright with it. Eventually the agree but once they are inside, a trap made by Hephaestus is activated and released are thousands of metal spiders. Annabeth froze in fear which then lead Percy to flood the room with water from the pipes. Quickly the sail to the exit only to find that the gate is sealed shut. Annabeth figured out the best time to jump and the two make it out safely. This then puts them on track to the Lotus Hotel and Casino. It was here that the three took shelter for the night. Immediately the trio take on the games and Annabeth found herself enticed in a game that she can't pull away from. Even after Percy tells her it's a trap she doesn't budge. It wasn't until the word spider echoed in her ear did she finally move and come to her senses.

Finally back on track they make it to the Underworld. Upon arriving they tried to think of a way to get to Hades without passing Cerberus but come up empty handed. Annabeth then pulled a rubber ball out and began to play fetch with him and claiming she used to train a Doberman. This enabled Percy and Grover to sneak by. After they were in the clear Annabeth too left and told Cerberus that she would play with him again later. Then they found the Master Bolt and returned it to Mount Olympus and all seemed well. That was, until Percy was poisoned by Luke, and Annabeth was deeply hurt by Luke's betrayal.

Over the next few years Annabeth found herself going on more adventures with Percy Jackson and the two had actually become friends. A cause proving their newly found friendship would be that of when she save his life from a Laistrygonian during a game a dodgeball at his school. But that was only the beginning. As time went on more and more things began to pop up. Camp Half Blood being attacked by two Colchis bulls made and sent by Hephaestus. They got through do to the fact that the tree was poisoned. Because of this Chiron was fired, because he was suspected of poisoning the tree because he is a son of Kronos, and in his place Tantalus step up. Then during a round of chariot races they are attacked by Stymphalian Birds. Automatically Tantalus blames Annabeth, Percy, and Tyson even though they helped to stop the fight. Later Percy and Annabeth find out that Grover is in trouble and can't excape the Sea Monsters and has also found the Golden Fleece. The pair ask to take the quest but Tantalus gives it to another camper, Clarisse. However this does not stop the two, along with Tyson. At night, when the ship is passing by the three sneak on to go and find their friend themselves. Then they find that they have arrived on the Princess Andromeda, a ship in which Luke is on and they have to figure out a way to get off. Annabeth makes a quick decision and takes them to an old hideout that was used by her, Luke, and Thalia. There Annabeth tells Percy why she hates Cyclopes, due to the fact that Tyson--Percy's halfbrother-- is one, when Tyson is gone. But when he comes back he is followed by a hydra. After battling the hydra with no avail, Clarisse arrives and agrees to take them with her to the Sea of Monsters.While coming to the Sea of Monsters they have to make there way past Charybdis and Scylla on Clarisse ship. However things back fire when Clarisse goes after Charybdis. Why they couldn't just pass by, nobody knew. The ship wrecks and sinks and it makes it seem as if Tyson died onboard. After the ship is destroyed, Annabeth and Percy are split up from the rest of the group and end up at C.C.'s Spa and Resort at Circe's Island, which in all reality is a prison for male demigods and halfbloods. Then again they two are split up. Annabeth is taken to get a makeover by one of Circe's assistants while Percy is turned into a guinea pig by Circe to be held captive. Being as clever as she is, Annabeth figures it all out and uses multi-vitamin tablets, given to her by Hermes, and puts them into the cage. This turns Percy, as well as the other prisoners including Blackbeard and his crew back into humans. As a reward, Annabeth and Percy are allowed on Blackbeards ship while his crew pillage and loot Circe's Island. Percy and Annabeth finally reach their destination, the island of Polyphemus, and team back up with Clarisse. During the fight with Poyphemus, Tyson reappears and throws a rock in Polyphemus's head therefore helping Percy, Annabeth, Grover, and Clarisse escape with the fleece. Once they are safe they send Clarisse back to camp with the Fleece. Then yet again, Annabeth, Percy, Grover, and Tyson are then captured by Luke. Trying to make himself harmless, he tries to trick them with his hospitality by inviting them on board the Princess Andromeda. However, Percy manages to contact camp with an Iris-message, tricking Luke into admitting he was the one who poisoned Thalia's Tree not Chiron. Then things go sour and Luke and Percy begin to duel. Percy is nearly killed but is saved by Chiron. The group return to camp and cure the tree with the Golden Fleece. The tree is healed and is accompanied by quite a surprise. Because of the fleeces powers in brings Thalia back to life.

Later that year, Percy, Thalia and Annabeth went to Westover Hall, a a military school, to meet Grover. He had supposedly found two demigod siblings and was watching to make sure they stayed safe. Well trouble began to arise and the three went to check it out. Upon arriving, Thalia convinces a teacher they are students that go to the school to prevent them from getting into any trouble that would ultimately lead them to getting kicked out before they could even find out any information. As they continue on to find Grover they come to the dance the school was hosting. Annabeth and Percy dance together to make it seem believable and that's when she mentions she has something to tell him. However before she could say anything they realize that Nico and Bianca, the two demigods they came for, have disappeared. Annabeth runs off to get Grover and Thalia and when they come back they find that Percy is gone and as also been captured just like siblings. And by whom, you make ask? Well when they arrived Grover told them that Dr. Thorn, the vice-principal was a manticore, and had been keeping a close eye on the demigod siblings. Once they find Percy, Nico and Bianca near a cliff that Dr. Thorn brought them to Annabeth saves them by stabbing Dr. Thorn in the back but ends up falling off the cliff with him in the process. While Annabeth is assumed dead Percy continues to have to crazy dreams about her. It is after one of these dreams at Grover tells Percy that Annabeth was invited to join the Hunters and that was what she wanted to tell him at the dance. That brought on even more dreams. A short time later the Oracle of Delphi states a prophecy that made Percy, Thalia, Grover, Bianca, and and the Huntress-- Zoë Nightshade -- go off to find Annabeth and Artimis as well as the monster Artimis was going after. But Percy wasn't originally in the plan. It wasn't until Nico convincing him to go did he actually agree to help him protect his sister, Bianca. Percy just couldn't leave the fate of his best friend in the hands of people he barely knew so he had to go along to save Annabeth. Finally the group arrived at Mount Othrys in San Francisco and found Annabeth, who has a grey streak in her hair due to holding up the sky, and Artemis, who was struggling under the weight of the sky. Both held captive by Luke and Atlas. So what do ya know, Percy's dreams were actually reality. After the capture and banishment of Atlas, the supposed death of Luke, and the great loss of the Huntress; Annabeth was rescued as well as her mortal father who had been attack and going after the monsters with bullets he made from things Annabeth left behind at home. Upon returning Anna's father home, her stepmother tells Percy that even though Annabeth can't stay there due to the danger she is always welcome and that it would always be her home.

The next year Annabeth and Percy return to camp together only to discover a doorway to the Labyrinth under Zeus's Fist. Instantly Annabeth realizes that Luke could use the entrance to invade the camp at anytime he felt necessary. That lead to Chiron sending Annabeth to lead a quest into the Labyrinth to keep Kronos' "evil forces" from invading the camp by finding Daedalus, the creator of the Labyrinth. So Annabeth, Percy, Grover, and Tyson descend into the Labyrinth. As they find themselves going deeper and deeper into the maze the begin to fight more and more monsters. Annabeth then faces a Sphinx who recites many riddles. However they are no problem for her due to her intelligence and she takes it as sort of an insult. After accomplishing the tasks of the Sphinx Grover splits off from them as well as Tyson leaving Percy and Anna to find Hephaestus so that he can tell them where to find Daedalus. After speaking with Hephaestus the two go on a mission for the monsters invading the forge god's territory, otherwise known as Mt. St. Helens. Just before Percy battles a half dog/half sea lion monster, Annabeth kisses him because she fears he may not make it back alive. When he returns Annabeth runs and clings on to him in amazement for she had believed he was already dead. But when she realizes the other campers starting to stare she quickly lets go in embarrassment. After Percy has a talk with Chiron telling him what happened she finds out and immediately becomes enraged with jealousy. Then Percy asks a mortal, Rachel, as well as Annabeth to go with him to find Grover and Tyson. This only upsets Anna even more and she starts to offensive mutters about Rachel. But eventually Annabeth accepts the decision of Rachel as their guide. Together they find Luke and after a long battle at the entrance of the Labyrinth, Luke and his army are forced to retreat leaving behind many fallen warriors.

Not soon after Annabeth and the other campers go to NYC to save and protect Manhattan and Mount Olympus from Kronos' army. During the battle Annabeth shields Percy from a poisoned knife which leaves her defenseless. While she takes rest, she explains to Percy that Luke had come to see her just before she went into Labyrinth. She then went onto explain why Hermes was agered with her due to the fact that she didn't save Luke when she clearly could have. Eventually Annabeth saves Percy and the Olympians by figuring out just who the prophecy was meant for. She tells Percy to give her knife to Luke so he could kill himself with it. Thus banishing Kronos back to Tartarus. Annabeth is then rewarded by her mother, Athena, and is granted the wish to design a new city for Olympus seeing as the previous one had been ruined during battle. As a plus she is also granted to design new cabins for the camp. And everything eventually lead up to the best underwater kiss between Percy and Annabeth after being tossed into the lake by several nosy campers who cut in on their private celebration of Percy's 16th birthday.

This is because while on their way to camp; Luke, Thalia, and her were trapped by one.
powers Anna has a Yankees cap that allows her to be invisible, it was a gift from her mother. She has her mother's wisdom and is very intelligent and clever. Also, she is knowledgeable in architecture and the Greek gods and creatures and is a master strategist. She knows hand-to-hand combat and fights best with her knife which she was given when she was seven by Luke. Although she doesn't see it as a 'special power', Anna has dyslexia. This means her brain is "hard-wired" for Ancient Greek. She also has ADHD, which is a sign of a demigod's heightened senses and aptitude for battle. Annabeth is pretty much known for her memory, she never forgets something she's heard.

Veronica pushed the door open from the Drama teachers, Mrs. Wood's, classroom. She had just been inside disusing this years upcoming spring musical. Ronnie was going to go out for the lead, however she didn't know what show it was. The was the point of the visit. Seeing as it was so early in the school years Mrs. Wood had yet to announce the production. She usually didn't break he silence until just before auditions. Ronnie didn't want to wait. She was very curious and was dying to know. Though her plain didn't work. She couldn't get a thing out of the women about the show. That's why she left.

Veronica took in a deep breath and proceeded to sigh. Theatre was her life's passion and it's all she wanted to do. You can't kill a girl for being curious. While shaking her head she pulled her headphones from her pocket and stuck them in her ears and clicked play on her ipod and continued to walk down the hall. As she turned a corner she came to her favorite part of the song and closed to her eyes and started to sing lightly. This obstructed her view from the front causing her to bump into someone. Immediately she dropped what books and papers she had been carrying. They scattered all across the floor. Quickly, she pulled out her headphones and glanced at the person in front of her. "I am so sorry." she muttered, "I should have been watching where I was going."

As she bent down she started to pick up her things. Some sheet music, essay papers for chemistry and a few books she had just checked out from the library. Why she hadn't put it all in her bag she didn't know. It was caused by being in a rush to get to her car in the parking lot. That and trying to make it to the Drama classroom just before the rush after the last bell was rung to signal school was done for the day.
