Etah arrived in the dining hall a bit later than others as a result of cleaning up their cabin. The other sons and daughters of Aphrodite had chosen to leave the cleaning duty to their own head councilor and they would most certainly come to regret that. After all, Etah didn’t allow himself to be tricked in such a way. Going into the hall, he found that the seats at the Aphrodite table had been completely filled up. Well not exactly completely, the Aphrodite kids chose to take a lot of space, they needed their bubble and Etah couldn’t exactly be a hypocrite about it, he did the same as well and likely took more space than the rest of them.
He quickly grabbed his tray of food before looking around for a seat. “Who will get the lucky chance to have me set at their table…” thought rather arrogantly as he observed the seating arrangements, finally spotting a lone female not too far away. “Bingo!” He claimed and walked over to the table. Instead of sitting at her side, he chose to get a better view of what could no doubt be a daughter of Hermes by sitting in front of her. No permission was necessary, she should be thankful for his presence in the first place. As a son of Aphrodite, he paid special attention to appearances and across the years, he had grown to know who was a kid of Ares to who was a kid of Hermes, and she most definitely was a kid of Hermes.
“Odd to see a daughter of Hermes sitting alone. Dontcha’ got a bunch of siblings to be with?” He asked openly and curiously. His smile shone bright as he spoke, starring towards her as if they had been friends for years before this.

Apparently he had said a joke that he himself was unaware of. Some people laugh easier than others he supposed. She shook her head when asked if she had a bunch of siblings to be with. He actually had not noticed, he never noticed when new people were around; it wasn’t his sort of thing to keep track of people’s lives. Other than the members of Aphrodite, there were no other people who he really paid much attention to.
“Pardon me, I did not notice; usually the Hermes cabin is more welcoming of its new members. Forget about your past, this is your future, they’re your family now… your real family… oh yeah, and my names Etah!” He replied as a last thought. Truly, a lot of people here had had a bad past, it was kind of a trend here in Camp Olympus. Oh and Etah? He was no exception, maybe his past wasn’t as bad as Dani, maybe it was, all he knew was that she needed to put that aside and try to feel at home as much as she possibly could.
