Leo had his head phones in his hears and was bobbing his head slightly as he walked, his eyes closed. SInce he was a legal adult, the camp masters technically had no right taking his technology from him. However, it was in the rules that those things be handed over upon camp entrance. Leo smiled slightly when he touched his mp3 player in his pocket. His ears were being filled with the soft lull that was classical music. Being the son of the Sun God who was also strong in music, Leo had an open mind when it came to music. There were very few genres he didn't listen to.
The brunette smiled softly to himself and opened his eyes, trying to figure out where he was at. He blinked a couple of times and chuckled quietly when he realized he had almost walked into the doors to the greenhouses. Behind him was the Main House. Had he wandered this far already? He had started at the dining hall and ended up here. How odd. With a shrug, Leo pushed open the door to the greenhouses and stepped in.
Absently, the brunette wandered through the flowers, marvelling at the variety of plants that shouldn't have been able to grow because of the weather. Just by looking, though, Leo could tell they were wall real and, as he often did, shook his head in wonder at what Demigods and their parents could do. It was crazy. The son of Apollo shook his head and continued to walk around, oblivious to the other presence in the greenhouses.

It was bright outside and Ally did not care for it all too much but there was a reason she was out at that time of day. She wanted to go to the green houses. Just because her mother was the goddess of night and her grandfather ruled the under world didn't mean she couldn't help with planting and caring for the many plants in the green house. Sure she usually went when no one else was there but she still enjoyed it. There was a peace about the greenhouse that was always welcoming to her.
Ally loved the silence, she still had a hard time getting along with people her own age. She rather sit down with a teacher and talk for hours about some philosophy. He even preferred to talk with one of the gods or goddess that controlled the camp or decided to pop in more that her own fellow demigods. Her father was in the middle of teaching at that moment so she didn't want to bother him. Not that he would mind if she did sit in on one of his classes but she didn't want to intrude. She had her notebook out, jotting down random information about some of the plants in the greenhouse. One never knew when it would come in handy.
She came very close to running into someone. It half startled her. She could have sworn no one else was in there at the time. She was so engrossed in her book that she really would not have noticed anyway. "I am truly sorry. I did not realize there was anyone else here" She stated with a sweet smile. She might not get along with those her age but this person looked older and frankly she was raised to be polite so that is exactly how she acted. Why leave a bad first impression when it was not needed?

Something wasn't right, Leo decided as he continued to peruse the aisles of flowers. There was a tug on his Demigod instincts, the same tug that constantly kept him moving and, when he was a child, made it hard for him to be in classrooms. However, Leo was sure he was alone, so how come he was getting that annoying tug?
Almost as if an answer to his question, someone spoke. "I am truly sorry. I did not realize there was anyone else here." Just those two simple sentences sent Leonard's heart pounding and his pupils dilating. Leo slowly took one of his earphones out and turned around, jumping when he realized how close the person actually was to him, meaning that she probably almost ran into him and that's what the apology was for. She was smiling, so that slightly assured Leonard but not by much. The brunette laughed nervously, unable to hide the way he was shaking and the darkness of his pupils was probably the prodominant and obvious colour in his eyes.
Pressing a hand to his chest over his heart, Leo let out a surprised sigh and his heart rate slowly returned to normal as he took in the girl's appearance. He smiled back at her before speaking.
"I-It's quite alright," he stuttered. "I wasn't paying attention either... Obviously," he chuckled, motioning to his headphones. "I didn't think anyone was going to be here at this time. I can go, though, if you need to be alone or anything. I don't really need to be in here." With a finishing shrug, Leo looked down at the dark haired girl, wondering what she would say. He really didn't want to leave but if she wanted to be alone, who was he to deny her of that simple pleasure?

She had yet to meet this person so she didn't know anything about him. That was fine in all, she was alright with meeting new people but the look in his eyes stated that he seemed to have an opposite feeling about it. He seemed jumpy. Ally realized that she had startled him. She didn't realize it at first but when he placed his hand on his chest she noticed he was shaking and trying to slow his heart rate. This was a first. She was not sure how to handle the situation. Thankfully he started talking. Ally had to hold back a sigh of relief hoping not to seem as unsure about the situation as she felt.
I-It's quite alright, I wasn't paying attention either... Obviously It was a good thing that he was calming down and could laugh slightly. Ally grinned when he motioned to his headphones. I didn't think anyone was going to be here at this time. "I didn't think anyone else was here either" She said with a smile. I can go, though, if you need to be alone or anything. I don't really need to be in here. She didn't want to intrude on anything and there was no reason for him to go. Sometimes it was better to have more than one person in an area and she didn't sense any harm from this one. "You don't have to go. This is a huge area so there is plenty of room. Besides I don't mind company, I was just making some notes on plant grown here. It is up to you. I'm Allya, Ally for short, by the way" She stated with a smile extending her free hand. She was trying to seem as friendly as she could without seem strange. He seemed like a nice person and she felt a bit at fault for startling him like that.

A hesitant smile spread across Leo's face as the girl said she didn't think anyone was in the greenhouses either. It made him less scared knowing that she hadn't knowingly snuck up on him and his heart beat calmed significantly. He straightened himself out from his scare and looked at the girl curiously now, his fear gone. He'd seen her around but he did have a bad habit of wandering so he didn't know where in the camp he'd seen her. It could have been anywhere at all.
"You don't have to go," she said. "This is a huge area so there is plenty of room. Besides I don't mind the company, I was just making some notes on plant grown in here. It is up to you." Leonard shifted and nodded as he mulled over her words. He didn't really want to leave and knowing that she wasn't going to ask him to leave made him happy. He would definitely be staying. Who knew, maybe he would make a new friend. "I'm Allya, Ally for short, by the way."
Leonard's hesitant smile spread into a full-blown grin and he reached out, eagerly shaking the dark haired girl's hand with both of his hands. "Pleased to meet you, Ally," he stated cheerfully, releasing her hand after a moment, tucking his hands back into his own pockets. "I'm Leonard, but everyone calls me Leo since Leonard seems to be a bit of a mouthful. I don't know what Mother was thinking, naming me Leonard." The brunette paused and looked thoughtfully at Ally. "My father is Apollo. Who's your parent?" he asked casually although he suddenly went on guard -some kids were way too sensitive about their parents and hated when he asked that question. He hoped Ally wasn't like that.

It was nice to see his smile turn from a shaky one to a real full smile. It suited him better to smile, Ally believed. Playful wasn't the word to describe him when he smiled but Ally couldn't quite come up with the right words. All that she knew was she liked his smile. I'm Leonard, but everyone calls me Leo since Leonard seems to be a bit of a mouthful. I don't know what Mother was thinking, naming me Leonard. "Well it is very nice to meet you Leo. I like Leonard, it is a strong name in the meaning and sound" Ally stated with a warm, friendly smile.
My father is Apollo. Who's your parent? My mother is Nyx, and my father is one of the teachers here. Kyle Richards, son of Hades" Leo looked like he was old enough to be an instructor so he might have met her father. She did like having family around. They were the few she was close to. But, she didn't mind meeting new people and making some friends. She really didn't have any. There was Lily but she was family, and she wasn't too sure what to call Kermit. She was wondering what she would end up calling Leo. It was be nice to at least call him a friend.
"So what brings you to the Greenhouses on this fine day?" She was trying to come up with some topic of discussion. She wasn't very good at starting a conversation but why not try something out. She wanted to get to know Leo a bit more. She couldn't figure out why but she felt like she could help him in some way. Something about him being startled just didn't seem right or more like it happened often. She craved knowledge and Leo was a closed book in another language that she wanted to learn how to read.

Leo couldn't help but laugh pleasantly when Ally complimented his name. Not many people complimented him on his name, simply because he usually said he didn't know what his mother was thinking. He was pleased that someone did compliment it; it boosted his lacking confidence just a little bit. "Thank you," he said cheerfully, returning her smile with a vibrant one of his own. When he was scared or alone, he always forgot how much he loved to just smile at someone.
"My mother is Nyx, and my father is one of the teachers here. Kyle Richards, son of Hades."
Both of Leo's brows raised in surprise -he'd never met a child of Nyx before. That was pretty cool, actually. While he was the son of the Sun God, even Leo could appreciate the evening and nighttime. Something about the dark was calming. It was probably because he spent a lot of time in sunlight due to his heritage making the sun appeal to him.
When Leo spoke, his voice was coloured with surprise, "Nyx, huh? That's awesome. She's pretty cool, I hear." He laughed a bit. "I've seen your dad, I think. Never took one of his classes. I'm just at camp because... Uhm." He cleared his throat, his smile turning a bit nervous. He glanced around the greenhouses, his eyes searching rapidly for some subject change. He didn't openly flaunt his fatal flaw since it made him uncomfortable and had the tendency to lower peoples' opinions of him, something he didn't like. He was thankful when Ally asked him was brought him to the greenhouses. "Oh," he said, his smile returning full force. "Nothing in particular. I just got incredibly bored. I'm not a fan of going to activites and I technically don't need to, so there's not a lot for me to do. I tend to wander. I suppose that's alright, though, since I meet new people when I wander around aimlessly." He gave Ally another grin, hoping it portrayed that he was referring to her in that last part.

It was really interesting meeting a son of Apollo. Personally she prefered the night but the suns warmth was welcoming. Even if she was nearly powerless when the sun is at its peak. She did hate that. She needed the night to be at her strongest, but that was just how things worked out. But that didn't make her any less appreciative of Apollo or his children.
She didn't want to push why he was at the camp. It wasn't for her to pry and she figured he would tell when he was ready. Her dad came to teach and she tagged along even if she did find camp activities a waste of time at some points. She knew the camp was also a safe haven for demigods so whatever his reasoning he didn't seem like a bad person so it was alright.
Nothing in particular. I just got incredibly bored. I'm not a fan of going to activities and I technically don't need to, so there's not a lot for me to do. I tend to wander. I suppose that's alright, though, since I meet new people when I wander around aimlessly. Wondering was fun. Ally did it often just to get away from all the things happening in the camp. She had to go to the activities, well most of them. "I will have to agree, it is nice to wonder every now and then" Ally stated, and it was a great way to meet some neat people.
She did wonder if he wasn't training, nor was he a teacher there must be something that he did. "I don't mean to pry in any way, but what do you do. As in do you have a job or something, or do you just wonder around?" She was teasing at the last part and hoped he didn't take it seriously. She was only trying to be polite and get some more in-site on the son of Apollo.

It hadn't been all that long but Leo could happily say that he liked Ally. She was nice and didn't push him out of his comfort zone. It was wonderful, especially since Leo was used to being pushed over his preferred limits. He brushed some of his hair from his eyes and laughed when she agreed that it was nice to wander. That was such a true statement if there ever was one. He made new friends and also go some time to himself that way.
Leo's mind started drifting at Ally's comment before she spoke aain, asking if he had a job or something. He laughed at her teasing and shook his head, his laughter slowly fading away. "I do work at Barnes and Noble," he replied happily. "I just love the smell of books, so I picked the first job that came along that involved books." He smiled and glanced off to the side, staring out the slightly glazed windows of the greenhouses, watching the sun shimmer slightly. Clearing his throat, he looked back to Ally and asked, "What about you? Do you just come to hang out? Or do you have a job too?"
He flashed her a smile and waited, his posture relaxed and he stood there, feeling comfortable and content with the moment.
